Texas Man Killed in Reno Plane Crash

A Texas man was killed in a devastating plane crash at an air show near Reno, Nevada last week.  According to news reports, the man had earlier volunteered at the Wings over Houston Air Show, and had been volunteering at the National Air Race Championships in Reno, when a World War II vintage plane went down into the grandstands. Medical Helicopter Safety in Question Again

After a relatively peaceful 2009, in which there were fewer fatalities in medical helicopter and air ambulance crashes, 2010 has taken Houston personal injury lawyers and federal safety officials by surprise. Two Persons Killed in Medical Helicopter Crash in Ellis County, Texas

There has been yet another medical helicopter crash. This most recent one occurred in Midlothian in Ellis County, Texas. Two persons have been injured in the crash that involved a CareFlite medical helicopter on a maintenance flight. The two victims were the pilot and a mechanic. According to Midlothian police, the tail section of the helicopter came loose during the flight, and the helicopter went down in a ball of fire. NTSB Releases Federal Safety Wish List for 2010: Truck Safety is a Priority

The National Transportation Safety Board has released its 2010 Most Wanted List of Federal Safety Improvements, and these contain safety recommendations for the aviation, rail, marine and transportation sectors. Houston Injury Lawyers Have Questions after Fatal Helicopter Crash at Fort Bliss

The increasing number of crashes involving medical helicopters has been a great source of concern to personal injury lawyers in Houston and around Texas. In the latest such crash, three people were killed when their helicopter went down during a training exercise at Fort Bliss.
