Workers who have been injured in a workplace accident or any kind of serious accident may be at risk for Post traumatic stress disorder.  A new study finds that 911 dispatchers in Texas may be at a higher risk of suffering Post traumatic stress disorder because of the stresses of their job. Researchers Recommend Quick Surgery to Help Spinal Injury Victims

Deer Park patients suffering from an upper spinal cord injury that ultimately leads to paralysis could benefit if surgery is performed on them immediately after the injury.  According to new research by Canadian scientists, patients who have suffered an injury to the cervical spine region, and have surgery within 24 hours after the injury, were found to show much better progress towards recovery, compared to patients who had surgery a couple of days after the injury. Cypress Man Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit against Katy bar

A Cypress man, whose daughter was killed in a drunk driving accident, has filed a lawsuit against a bar in Katy.  The lawsuit alleges that the bar was negligent in serving the intoxicated motorist alcohol even when he showed signs of being drunk.  The lawsuit was filed against The Bayou Sports Bar and Grill. Two Children Injured in Houston Minivan Rollover Accident

Two children were seriously injured when the minivan they were traveling in, flipped over, causing them to be ejected from the window.  The 2 children, a 10-year-old girl, and a 9-year-old boy, had to be airlifted to a Houston hospital.
