Report Shows Americans Continue to Be at Risk from Defective Foreign-Manufactured Drugs

A report by the Government Accountability Office indicates that the Food and Drug Administration has made little progress in addressing the problem of infrequent and insufficient inspections of foreign drug manufacturing facilities. Americans Want Safer Medications

According to a new survey, most Americans support enhanced drug safety, to the point where they would support stronger laws for it.  In fact, 81% of Americans say they would support a law that would place strong new drug safety measures in place.
